The Song Of The Jellicle Goths

By Marcony
With Appolergies to T S Eliot

Jellicle Goths come out to-night
Jellicle Goths come one come all:
The Jellicle Moon is shining bright --
Jellicles come to the Jellicle Ball.

Jellicle Goths are black and white,
Jellicle Goths are rather tall;
Jellicle Goths are a beutiful sight,
and handsomely dressed though they'ed never say cool.
Jellicl Goths have made up faces,
Jellicl Goths have Black lined eyes;
They like to practise their airs and graces
And wait for the Jellicle Moon to rise.

Jellicle Goths develop quickly,
Jellicle Goths can get quite big;
Jellicle Goths have moves so nifty,
Althoguh thet won't dance a Gavotte or a Jig.
Until the Jellicle Moon appears
They make themselves up then take their repose:
Jellicles like white for their face,
Jellicles like black for their clothes.

Jellicle Goths are white and black,
Jellicle Goths are of largish size;
Jellicles live and they never look back,
Jellicle Goths have moonlit eyes.
You'll hear them snore in the morning hours,
They're quiet enough in the afternoon,
Reserving they're dark mysterious powers
To dance by the light of the Jellicle Moon.

Jellicle Goths are black and white,
Jellicle Goths can be wide or lean;
On a Saturday they go off to the Slime Light
and Dance on the floor or get themselves seen.
If it happens the sun is shining bright
You would say they had nothing to do but dream:
They are resting and saving themselves to be right
For the Whitby meet at Halloween.
