Daisy Girl.
By Marcony (2009)
After a gig with my band at an old folks community for a 90th birthday we were told how nice it was to hear some decent music and not have sombody singing Daisy Daisy at them (It was interesting to see that they all knew the words to tainted Love) All the same I figured what was really needed was a more up to date version of Daisy Daisy. These are lyrics to a Regge version.
Oh Daisy girl please answer me,
I'm here on tender hooks.
I love your style, your charm, your smile,
Your grace, your poise, your looks.
Please tell me would you concent,
My heart to have and hold.
I'd be so proud if you'ld ride with me-
Down Lifes road.
There Won't be no long white cars,
My Bank account couldn't stand 'em,
But you'd look hot in white cycling shorts,
If you'd join me on my tandem
