Contests

Both the gothic and furry scenes have been strongly defined by their art. It is no surprise that Darkfurrs being firmly in to both have combined the two in their art.

Back in 2000 an Article in the Sunday Times kids section inspired me to run a wee art contest. The prize was a box of chocolate chip cookies and the result blew me away. Things blossomed from there and at the end of the year I was ready for the first Darkfurr Vision of the Year. It's been carrying on for a couple of years now and has become a real showcase for some of the great gothic and furry talents. Bellow are all of them.

Space Vixens Space Vixens
For many a fur here in London the year 2000 became inextricably linked with the cult musical Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens. The show it's self wasn't furry but quite often over half the audience would be. It was a very special time that many furrs look back on with fondness. If you weren't there you may find this all very... Bizzar.
Y2Kitty Y2Kitty
Our very first contest was inspired by an article in the times. back in those days darkfurr was mainly centered around the London scene but even then there was much talent about.
